FREE domestic or international shipping with direct order. **NY: Viking Press, 1931 (3rd printing, May 1931). INSCRIBED: "Found in an ash heap and autographed by Dr. Seuss in a maelstrom." The owner was working in the children's department at the San Diego Public Library one day in 1946 or 1947 when Theodore Geisel came in and inscribed this copy for her on the verso of the front free endpaper. As noted, it is a third printing. Light green cloth, fairly solid, with the usual insults of age, so only a fair to good copy; no dustjacket.
