Engraved title + pp. 1-49. 24 x 31.6 cm (oversquare). Russian name written at top of title page and contents. Russian translations for lyrics of 7 songs written in. A few turned corners.; light foxing. **This is volume 1 containing songs 1-12 (of 24). A very early edition, but apparently not a first. Deutsch, Otto Erich, Schubert: thematic catalogue… (1951) describes the first edition, 14 Jan 1828, as listing only the price of Part I. This one states the prices of both parts. Part II was issued 30 December 1828, after Schubert's death.
