New York: Museum of Modern Art in collaoration with Centro Di, Florence, 1972. This is a small, inventive poster used to promote the exhibition and book by the same name. It was designed by the editor. It consists of the following: a piece of white pasteboard 35 x 25 cm printed with the title, a snug-fitting, translucent envelope with flap, and five loose, die-cut color illustrations of objects in the show that fall randomly into place as the piece is moved. The first picture shows the poster assembled; the second shows the loose parts separately against a blank background. The book (not present here) is about 26 cm tall and has a dustjacket of the same drafting vellum as the poster; it also is designed as an enclosure to let the diecut pieces float randomly. As usual, the vellum has darkened with age and cracked or chipped at some of the extremities. The white pasteboard and the five loose pieces are fine. Very unusual. **Free domestic shipping with direct order. Item #61001
