Santa Clara, California: Triton Museum of Art, 1983. Artist's book. The cover is a photo of what is labeled a "Bermanaire" refrigerator. The cover is hand cut, so the door swings out to reveal interior compartments printed on the verso of the cover and the title page. A silver iron precedes "Eating out of a refrigerator," which features a dining table that unfolds with a sterling-silver fork, knife and spoon, a TV-freezer combination, a radio/alarm clock, built-in telephone, and easy-access toothbrush holder. That's just the cover and first two illustrated pages. 16 pp. 21.5 x 14.1 cm. Near fine. Very scarce. Laid in: a letter-size color ad for the "Bermanaire" refrigerator: "NOW you can eat out of a Refrigerator!" Ms Berman's jewelry and sculpture recycles waste materials from our consumer society into objects of beauty and surprise: search harrieteestelberman. The 1988 publication date on the first OCLC record almost certainly is a misprint for 1983. **Free domestic shipping with direct order. Item #02961
