NY: Heiner Friedrich, ©1970. Second edition. (The original edition was 1963.) Various inserts, mounted items, etc. About 136 pp., printed on several colors of paper. Wrs. 22.8 x 20.5 cm (oversquare). A seminal work, with contributions by George Brecht, John Cage, Ray Johnson, Jackson MacLow, Yoko Ono, Nam June Paik, Diter Rot, Emmett Williams, the editor, and others. Two mounted envelopes and two loose sheets (music score and holes). This copy has suffered during the intervening 47 years: it has been scratched and abraded, the edges of the covers and outer pages have provided sustenance for a horde of silverfish or other malefactors; the fugitive red ink on the covers has faded to the point where the spine is a dark off-white. Nevertheless, the inside of the cover bears the inscription, "This copy for | David & Ellie & Blaise | Jackson 3/11/74." Blaise is the Antin's then-young son.
