Artforum, volume XIII [13], number 3, November 1974. LACKS the controversial Lynda Benglis advertisement.

New York: Artforum, 1974. This issue has become extremely rare, due to a much-sought-after color ad featuring the artist Lynda Benglis in a transgressive pose. Only the leaf containing the advertisement is missing. The 6-page article about her is present, along with articles that may be of interest to other people. They include: Skyscraper style: Art Deco New York; John Storrs; Talking with William Rubin; On Bruce Boice; Jonathan Borofsky at 2,096,974; two articles on photography, by Max Kozloff; and book reviews. As usual, the mostly black cover is worn. Only one such copy lacking the ad is available. The cover is heavily rubbed, with creases and pieces missing at the spine; the ad is lacking, and the staples removed; library stamp on contents page (legitimate discard); a little foxing on the edges. The rest of the contents are complete and in good condition. Many other issues of Artforum available. Please see our long runs, as well. **Free domestic shipping with direct order. Item #69052
