Complete run, mostly in fine condition, of one of the liveliest and most interesting art periodicals of the 1970s and 1980s. “The Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art is a new concept designed to be a catalyst for the support and recognition of contemporary art in Southern California. [...] An exhibition program reflecting many concepts of high artistic achievement uses visiting curators from all sectors of the community and open, depoliticized selection processes. This bimonthly journal is being published to focus on the critical issues facing contemporary art”– editorial statement in the first of 48 issues. Most copies fine to very fine.
