"Untitled" (photograph) [sand]

San Francisco: the artist, 1980. Framed black-and-white photograph, apparently of a sculpture made of sand that resembles both a very full pair of lips and two pairs of conjoined buttocks. The mat opening is 18 x 24 cm; the black metal frame is 38 x 42.5 cm, with glass. A note by the artist attached to the back identifies her and gives the title and year. A crease at the top of the photo is visible only in glancing light at an extreme angle. The scan crops the top and bottom edges of the frame and mat. Careful shipping will require extra postage.
